Margaret Gottlieb brings more than a decade of leadership in retained executive search. She was previously Managing Director of Foster Partners, a KPMG-affiliated search firm, and was one of the first people in the country awarded retained searches for the federal government, including the IRS, OPM, GAO, USDA, FAA and Department of Energy.
Earlier she specialized in federal and state legislative affairs, serving as Government Affairs Director for the Direct Marketing Association and working on Capitol Hill and in the Ohio House of Representatives. She co-authored an ASAE guide to state government relations and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Washington Post.
She earned her BA in History from the University of Cincinnati and her JD from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where she was an editor of the law review.
