He served as Deputy Chief Management Officer of the U.S. Army Reserve at the Pentagon and as Chief Operating Officer of the 210,000-person U.S. Army Reserve Command. He is a graduate of West Point, the U.S. Army War College and the University of Missouri-Rolla, and a licensed Professional Engineer.
